ViewSeekers
ViewSeekers is a series of workshops available to educators and community groups. These training sessions introduce educators and community leaders to the Foundation’s education materials and resources and develop strategies for using these materials in the classroom to meet state and local learning standards. Participants discuss the importance of understanding the parameters of a community’s visual environment, understanding the impacts of community appearance on the health of the community including the impacts of visual pollution, poorly-planned growth, sprawl, inappropriate zoning, loss of scenic areas and farmland, the visual impact of power lines, billboards, and transportation systems. Participants investigate skills and tools needed to analyze the visual environment in their neighborhoods and communities.

Availability of Viewseekers programs is dependent on the availability of facilitators in your region through our educators' network. For more information, please contact us at viewfinders@dunnfoundation.org.
