| ViewFinders and ViewFinders Too are our elementary
and middle school curricula for students in grades 3-8. These
curriculum materials emphasize the connections between the
environment, community and aesthetics as students explore
their community’s visual character, identifying the
qualities and special places that make their community unique.
ViewFinders is our elementary visual awareness-building curriculum.
ViewFinders Too, the middle school curriculum, builds on
the concepts introduced in ViewFinders as students examine
the tools and resources available to identify and curtail
the negative impacts of visual pollution on community character
and sense of place. The curriculum incorporates still images,
a film and computer enhancements into hands-on lessons which
utilize real life planning scenarios.
